The processing of each kratom, not just the red, begins with the harvesting of the mature leaves.
Then we separate the collected leaves from their veins, which we get rid of, because the veins only belong to white kratom.
Collecting only adult leaves and separating the leaves from the veins is a sign of quality. Not all Indonesian suppliers do this, which reduces the quality of the final product.
The next step is fermentation. The still wet leaves are placed in transparent plastic bags, which are left out in the sun to allow the leaves to ferment and gradually dry out. This process takes an average of 10 days.
After fermentation, final drying awaits us. High-quality drying takes place indoors, protected from direct sunlight. This preserves more alkaloids and also makes the whole process much more hygienic. The drying time depends on the season and the weather.
After the leaves have dried, they are broken into small pieces by hand or by machine. Then we put these small parts into a grinding machine which, as you know, grinds these parts into a very fine powder. How fine this powder is depends on the quality of the machine. In the case of more modern grinding machines, we can also get the so-called nano kratom.
The resulting powder is finally poured into kilogram packages, which are then sent to us from our warehouse in Indonesia.
